Experience the joy of creating a beautiful piece of artwork while knowing your contribution will help young children nurture their creativity this summer.
Our dynamic and fun Paint and Sip Fundraiser Event will be led by visual artist, Carlos Spivey. Proceeds raised from this event will help support the Budding Artists Summer Exploration Program.
About the Artist
Carlos Spivey is an African American artist who is a 2nd generation Los Angeles native currently residing in South Central Los Angeles. Carlos's aim as a visual artist is to depict African Americans and Africans of the Diaspora in a positive light. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Masters of Fine Arts in Film and Animation from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
The theme that runs through his work is the celebration of the beauty of blackness. Some of Carlos's recurring themes are Black Butterfly Mythology Lovers, Divas, Father's angels Family Cosmic, Ancient Africa, and Jazz West African dance. Carlos's aesthetic is a visual affirmation of beautiful blackness; his art lays the scaffolding from which dreams of great self and great group are nurtured.

Tier 2 - $65.00 includes the art experience, 2 glasses of wine, and one item from our Artists Mug Series
- A tier two ticket will support all art materials for 3 students
Tier 3 - VIP - $100.00 includes the art experience, 3 glasses of wine, one item from our Artists Mug Series, and signed Carlos Spivey card with a photo op
- A tier three ticket will support all art materials for 6 students
